As of June 1, 2022, Univar Solutions has been appointed as the exclusive distributor of BASF's chemical intermediate Glyoxal in the United States and Canada

Through this agreement, BASF and Univar Solutions have expanded their cooperation to better serve customers with a range of sustainable solutions

According to OECD guidelines 301 CE and 303 A, glyoxal is readily biodegradable, reducing dissolved organic carbon by more than 90%
