construction of the E4 tender section.

Baihetan ~ Jiangsu ± 800 kV UHVDC transmission project is a key project for China's implementation of the "West-to-East Power Transmission" strategy, and a major clean energy project
to promote national energy structure adjustment and energy conservation and emission reduction.

The project starts from Butuo County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province, ends in Changshu City, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, passes through 5 provinces (cities) of Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Anhui and Jiangsu, with a total length of 2,087 kilometers, and two new converter stations in Baihetan and Yucheng, which are planned to be completed and put into operation in 2022, and can transmit 31.
