Recently, Indian renewable energy developer Azure Power has commissioned a 40MW solar project
in Uttar Pradesh.
The plant, which covers an area of about 91 hectares, was awarded at an auction by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) and is built under
the third phase of the second phase of the government's national solar plan.
Azure Power will supply SECI for the next 25 years with an average electricity price of INR4.
