On September 14, Azerbaijan's National Statistical Commission said that in the first eight months of 2022, Azerbaijani oil via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) pipeline increased by 9.

In addition, from January to August, the number of oil transported by other countries such as Kazakhstan through the BTC pipeline increased to 3.

The BTC pipeline departs from the Azeri, Chirag, Guneshli (ACG) fields in the Caspian Sea, passes through Baku in Azerbaijan, Tbilisi in Georgia, and reaches the Mediterranean
