Azerbaijan exports 953.6 million cubic meters of natural gas to Europe

According to the news from the Russian Oil and Gas Network on May 20, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reported that from January to April 2021, Azerbaijan exported 953.

Of the total natural gas exports:

Italy accounted for 733.

Azerbaijan began to provide commercial natural gas to Europe through the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline on December 31, 2020.

Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated that the Trans-Adriatic Pipeline, as another energy link between Azerbaijan and Europe, will strengthen Azerbaijan’s strategic role in energy security, cooperation and sustainable development.

The pipeline from Azerbaijan to Europe includes the South Caucasus pipeline, the Trans-Anatolian pipeline and the Trans-Adriatic pipeline.
