Recently, Australian PV developer and renewable energy asset owner Maoneng Australia announced the completion of financial settlement
on the 255MW Sunraysia PV project.
The PV project will be the largest solar farm to begin construction in Australia this year and one of the
largest in the country.
The project is backed by two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) that UNSW Sydney and AGL Energy (AGL) will purchase over
15 years.
Decmil will provide an EPC contract for the installation, while also carrying out the operation and maintenance
of the project upon completion of the solar farm.
Maoneng will serve as construction manager during the construction phase and asset manager
during plant operations.
The PV project finance director and head of Maoneng M&A said: "The 15-year solar supply agreement with UNSW is the first of its kind in Australia, bringing together retailers, developers and businesses
