According to Quest's recently released survey, Australia's liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports totalled $92.
8 billion in 2022, up 86%
from 2021.
This was mainly due to the surge in natural gas prices caused by the
energy crisis in Europe.
In 2022, Australia's LNG exports reached 81.
4 million tonnes, surpassing the United States and Qatar to become the world's largest LNG exporter

In 2020, Australia's LNG exports were only A$

In 2022, Japan ranked first among Australia's LNG export destinations with 39% of the total; It is followed by China with 28%.
