Houston – February 18, 2020 – Ascend Performance Materials, the world’s leading manufacturer of large, integrated PA66 product lines, today announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Poliblend and Esseti Plast GD from the D’Ottavio Group

Phil McDivitt, President and CEO of Ascend, said, "This strategic acquisition marks an important transformation of our company as we continue to grow our manufacturing and distribution operations in Europe

Founded in 1999, Poliblend mainly provides modified plastics and masterbatch products, as well as concentrated masterbatches containing colors and additives to improve the appearance and final properties of plastic products, packaging and fibers; and has obtained ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO TS 16949 and many other certifications

"In an ever-changing global business environment, the ability to provide sustainable products has revolutionized Ascend," said John Saunders, Head of Ascend Europe

Mr.
Giancarlo D'Ottavio, President of Poliblend, will continue to oversee Poliblend's business and join Ascend's European management team
