On February 5, ARLANXEO announced that it had reached an agreement
with Saudi Aramco Trading Company, headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, on the marketing and sale of ethylene propylene diene diene diene (EPDM).
Through this agreement, ARLANXEO's marketing activities for EPDM rubber products will be strategically expanded
.
In the first half of 2018, ARLANXEO will start supplying a new EPDM grade under the brand name Keltan KSA, with Kertan as ARLANXEO's own brand and KSA as the extended KSA for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
.
EPDM Keltan KSA grades will be produced at the EPDM plant in Rabig, Saudi Arabia, located within the Rabigh Oil Refining and Petrochemical Company's chemical industry site, of which Saudi Aramco is a shareholder
.
With Kertan and Keltan KSA, ARLANXEO will be able to offer a unique and broad EPDM portfolio to provide customers with more comprehensive services
.

EPDM rubber has excellent water resistance, ozone resistance, ultraviolet resistance, heat resistance and weather resistance, and can be used in the production of sealing strips and hoses used in the automotive industry, sealing strips and waterproofing membranes used in the construction industry, and washing machine door seals and sealing products
used in the consumer goods industry.
In addition, EPDM rubber has excellent dynamic properties, wide service temperature, good flexibility, durability and excellent electrical properties
