Arkema to increase production capacity of high-performance polymer PVDF at Changshu plant

On October 15, Arkema announced that, driven by continued strong growth in the lithium-ion battery market for electric vehicles, it will increase the capacity of its Changshu plant, dedicated to the market, by around 50% of the production capacity of the high-performance polymer PV.

The new capacity is expected to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 202 According to Arkema, the project further consolidates PVDF's global leadership and is in line with Arkema's strategy of providing localized supply to custome.
