Cabo Verde Telecom (CVT), a Cape Verde telecommunications company, and Angolan Cable signed a joint cooperation agreement to identify synergies to expand network connectivity and network capabilities
.

Among them, the region's major submarine cable systems, including the South Atlantic Cable System (SACS), West Africa Cable System (WACS), Monet and EllaLink, will be part of the strategic plan to provide multiple connectivity and redundant routing options
for ISPs, enterprises and content providers looking to route Internet traffic between the two locations.

Angelo Gama, CEO of Angola Cable, said: "This is the first step
in a broader strategic collaboration between Angola Cable and CVT.
The agreement will pave the way for improvements in telecommunications infrastructure and services in the region, ultimately contributing positively to
improving the continent's digital transformation.
