All Ascend flame retardant polyamide products will be named under the Starflam® brand starting April 1

Ascend issued a "Product Name Change Notice" stating that starting April 1, 2022, all Ascend flame retardant polyamide products will be named under the Starflam® brand

The following is the content of the notice:

Dear customers and partners,

Ascend is committed to providing high-performance material solutions and technical support to meet the growing market demand for flame retardant materials
.

We announced the acquisition of Eurostar Engineering Plastics in January 2021, further expanding our flame retardant polyamide portfolio and technology development capabilities
.
The company has an industry-leading and complete range of flame-retardant systems and filler types in the field of high-performance flame-retardant polyamides, and its Starflam® products have excellent performance, a full range of UL certifications, and a high reputation in the industry
.

After more than a year of integration and optimization, Ascend has completed the integration of the existing Vydyne® ECO product line with the Starflam® brand
.
As of April 1, 2022, all Ascend flame retardant polyamide products will be named under the Starflam® brand
.
This name change will not affect the formulation, performance, and UL and other compliance certifications of the original Vydyne® ECO products
.
(Example: Vydyne® ECO 366H NT0708 renamed to Starflam® 366H NT0708)

The full range of Starflam® specifications will be available worldwide.
Ascend's Suzhou production base has successfully achieved localized production of Starflam® flame-retardant engineering plastics, and will gradually promote the localized production and development of the full range of specifications in the future
