Sinochem News, according to World Gas News on July 1, industrial gas supplier Air Products and Gunvor Petroleum Rotterdam (GPR), a subsidiary of Gunvor Group, have signed an agreement to jointly develop the Rotterdam Import Terminal.

As mentioned earlier, the agreement responds to the growing need for green energy to meet climate goals and the need for energy diversification

The import terminal is expected to supply green hydrogen to the Netherlands in 2026

Green hydrogen has huge decarbonization potential in hard-to-abate areas such as heavy-duty transportation and industry

Producing green hydrogen requires a lot of renewable energy
