(NYSE: A) announced that it will jointly establish Wanhua Chemical with Wanhua Chemical Group Co.

("Wanhua Chemical"), a global leader in chemical innovative products -Agilent Technologies Strategic Cooperation Joint Innovation Lab

Hua Weiqi (right), Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer and Dean of Academia Sinica of Wanhua Chemical, and Chen Liang, Vice President of Agilent and General Manager of Agilent Greater China Laboratory Solutions, unveiled the joint innovation laboratory

The collaboration aims to meet the mainstream customer trends of ChemChina New Materials

Chen Liang, vice president of Agilent and general manager of Agilent Greater China Laboratory Solutions, said: "The joint innovation laboratory established by the two parties will set an example for the industry to seek new testing and analysis methods and solutions

The new joint innovation laboratory will utilize gas chromatography (GC), liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), gas chromatography-quadrupole mass spectrometry in flight (GC-QTOF), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MSMS) Agilent solutions and other technical solutions have comprehensively enhanced Wanhua Chemical's ability to analyze and trace the source of difficult problems in analysis and testing

The cooperation between Agilent and Wanhua Chemical began in the 1990s, when Wanhua Chemical began to use Agilent gas chromatography products
