Sinochem News recently, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) announced that it has signed a joint research agreement (JSA) with Inpex, JERA Co.
, and Japan Oil, Gas and Metals Corporation (Jogmec) to explore the development of blue ammonia and hydrogen in the UAE The possibility of the project

Adnoc said that the joint research agreement will provide Adnoc and its partners with a platform to study the possibility of producing blue ammonia in Abu Dhabi to supply Japanese utility companies

Adnoc launched a plan to build a blue ammonia production center in the Ta'ziz chemical zone in Ruwais, Abu Dhabi in May of this year, and Fertiglobe joined the project in June

It is reported that Japan is Adnoc's largest oil export market
