Recently, ACCIONA has begun to build a 57MW photovoltaic project in Dymerka, northern Ukraine, with an estimated investment of about $64 million
.
It is understood that this is the first unit
developed by Acciona in the country.
Located about 100 kilometers northwest of Kiev, the project consists of three different factories covering an area of
92 hectares.
It is expected to be completed
in 2019.
The installation, wholly owned by Acciona, will consist of 174,552 polysilicon modules installed on fixed structures and will generate about 63 GWh of clean energy per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of more than 26,000 Ukrainian households

It was revealed that the energy generated at the plant will be sold to the national grid through a PPA, which runs until December 2029, in addition to the utility company of Energorynok State Enterprise in Ukraine
