On December 31, 2020, the wind turbines of Xinfeng Heichengzi Power Station located in the blue flag of Xilin Golmeng in Inner Mongolia were successfully connected to the grid, so far, all about 7 million kilowatts of wind power in Inner Mongolia Ximeng were connected to the grid

This also means that the North China Branch of the State Grid Corporation of China has completed the commissioning of all 5 500 kV gathering stations and 29 220 kV booster stations of the Ximeng UHV wind power transmission project, as well as the grid connection of all 36 wind farm fans
.
The completion and operation of the Ximeng UHV wind power transmission project will play an important role in power balance, economic and social development and air pollution prevention and control in North China, and is of great significance
for promoting the transformation of Ximeng's energy industry and building a solid ecological security barrier in northern China.
