According to Brazilian Energy Planning Minister Eduardo Azevedo, Brazil will award nearly 1 GW of wind capacity projects
in the August 31 wind power tender.

In the A-4 tender held in April this year, a total of 1,024.
5 MW of renewable energy projects were awarded, of which wind power accounted for 114.
