A few days ago, Direct Pack, a food application company focused on technological innovation in thermoformed packaging, announced a sustainable egg packaging

This egg pack is a new packaging project from Direct Pack, which is reclaimed from Direct Pack Recycling and innovatively designed by the engineering team

Through the Recycling Division's recycling and reprocessing facilities, Direct Pack takes these post-consumer recycled PET bottles and thermoformed PET packaging as raw materials, thermoforms them, and reprocesses them into packaged products

In addition, the company noticed a problem: the labeling on the packaging could be problematic in the recycling stream

Therefore, Direct Pack recommends the use of wash-off biaxially oriented polypropylene film (BOPP) labels
