(The advertisement is also very good-looking, don't let the advertisement slip away) Editor's note Teacher Zhang Yibin is a well-known old expert and senior in our pesticide industry
.
Although he is over eighty years old and in poor health, he is still struggling to write, which is admirable and touching
.
Today I received his self-report-"My Forty Years", from which we can feel Mr.
Zhang's incomparable love for pesticides and his outstanding contributions to the development of China's pesticide industry.
It is worth learning and admiring from all of us.
.
.
.
.
Earth-shaking changes have taken place in the forty years of China’s reform and opening up.
Similarly, during these forty years, China’s pesticide industry has also achieved rapid development
.
At present, China's pesticide production has leapt to the first place in the world, and its export volume is also among the highest in the world.
It has become the world's top country in pesticide production and sales
.
As far as the author is concerned, great progress has also been made.
In the past 40 years, the author, through learning and the help and guidance of other experts and teachers, has gradually transformed from a “recruit” who only knows about pesticides to a professional Technologists who have greatly improved their knowledge and business
.
The accumulation of knowledge will greatly help the author to write articles and books in the future
.
In the past 20 years, the author has discovered that biochemistry is very important in pesticide research
.
Since my major is organic synthesis, I can say that I don’t know anything about biochemical engineering.
In order to master this knowledge, the author went to Shanghai First Medical College and other related universities to audit after get off work hours, so I "secretly learned" biochemistry.
The course has increased my knowledge about the mechanism of pesticide action and toxicology, which can be said to be even more powerful for the author
.
The author's recent 40 years have also been the peak period for the author to write articles and books on pesticides and chemicals.
I have compiled and published 20 books on pesticides and chemicals, including: "Biological Pesticides" (cooperated with Shen Yinchu, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering) , Beijing Chemical Industry Press and Taiwan Wunan Book Publishing Company published in 1992; "Handbook of Antibacterial and Antifungal Agents" (in cooperation with Zhang Ze), published by Chemical Industry Press in 1993; "Fine Chemicals Series"—— (1987), "Handbook of Antifungal Agents" (1989), and "Surfactants" (1989), all published by China Material Publishing House; "New Advances in Pesticides in the World (Ⅰ~Ⅳ)", a total of four volumes, It was published by China Chemical Industry Press in 2003, 2007, 2010, and 2017; "Bacteria and Mildew Technology Manual" (Ma Zhenying, etc.
), published by Chemical Industry Press in 2010; "Pyridine Compounds and Their Applications" (Shen Guiying, etc.
) , Published by Chemical Industry Press in 2014
.
The above books total about 10 million words
.
In addition, about 500 to 600 articles have been published in domestic and foreign journals, with a total of more than 8 million words
.
In 2003, the author was hired as a member of the expert group of the national cutting-edge science and technology project "973"; in 2009, he was honorably selected by the China Petroleum Industry Association as the "Outstanding Contributions to China's Pesticide Industry" (National Pesticide Worker) since the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
A total of 60), and has been rated as an excellent information worker many times
.
In the past 40 years, dozens of special academic reports have been given at the World Pesticide Conference, which also has a certain influence in the international arena
.
For more than 50 years, the author has been deeply in love with the pesticide industry, and has always been concerned about the development of pesticides in China
.
For more than half a century, the author has grown from an ignorant young man to an eighty-year-old old man with a certain amount of pesticide expertise.
There is no doubt that the author has dedicated all his life to China's pesticide industry
.
In short, the forty years of reform and opening up have nurtured and tempered the author
.
I often think that if I have my next life, I still do pesticides, because pesticides are the subject of my lifelong research.
