Section Chief Li of the Park Supervision Office of Nanjing Environmental Protection Bureau stated that on June 6, a compressor of Yangzi BASF’s ethylene plant tripped.

In response to the question of the environmental protection department’s failure to conduct timely monitoring, Section Chief Li said that the black smoke failure of Yangzi BASF was intermittent.
