Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision Administration Food Safety Supervision and Inspection Information Notice (No. 4 of 2021) No. 11 of 2021

Recently, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration organized sampling of 751 batches of condiments, beverages, alcohol, starch and starch products, soy products, bee products, food and beverage products, edible agricultural products and edible oils, oils and fats and their products in 9 categories of food.
inspection and determination in accordance with national standards for food safety, in which 737 batches of qualified samples and 14 batches of non-conforming samples were sampled (see annex).
Non-conforming food related to agricultural veterinary drug residues, microbial pollution, quality indicators, heavy metals and other elemental pollutants and over-range, over-limited use of food additives and other indicators: First, agricultural and veterinary drug residues (i) Kurle City four seasons of green fruit life supermarket sales of soybean sprouts, 6-based adenine (6-BA) does not meet the national standards for food safety.

(ii) Toxon County small table seasoning shop sales, named Urumqi County Yongfeng Town Yongxin Village Hongyuanxiang food factory production of potato powder, aluminum residue (dry samples, in Al) does not meet the national standards for food safety.

(iii) Kuitun Aijia Supermarket Co., Ltd. sold, named Maanshan City Huangchi Feng Taste Garden Food Co., Ltd. produced dried brine, sorbic acid and its potassium salts (in sorbic acid) do not meet the national standards for food safety.

3. Microbial contamination (1) The total number of microbial contamination (1) brewed vinegar (condiments) produced by Feng's vinegar sauce factory in the eastern town of Muji County, which is known as muji County, does not meet the national standards for food safety.

(v) Hami City Jianguo North Road Linlin Commercial Bank sales, Hami City Venus Wine Co., Ltd. production of General Ban Daqu wine, by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Research Institute inspection found that the alcohol level does not meet the national standards for food safety.
Jinxing Liquor Co., Ltd. of Hami City, China, objected to the results of the alcohol test and applied for a re-inspection, and maintained the preliminary inspection conclusions after the re-examination by the Institute of Agricultural Quality Standards and Testing Technology of the Xinjiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
For non-conforming food found in the sampling, the Market Supervision Administration of the Autonomous Region has tasked the relevant local (state or city) market regulatory authorities to immediately organize the disposal work, ascension of product flow, take measures such as recalling unqualified products from the next rack to control risks;
to remind consumers that if they find or purchase non-conforming food items listed in the annex in the market, please call the Food Safety Complaint Reporting Number 12315 to report a complaint.
