Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision Administration Food Safety Supervision and Inspection Information Notice (No. 23 of 2020) No. 67 of 2020

Recently, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Market Supervision and Administration organized sampling of grain processing products, condiments, meat products, convenience foods, canned, frozen drinks, frozen food, potato and puffed food, tea and related products, vegetable products, fruit products, fried food and nut products, starch and starch products, soy products, bee products, food and beverage products and edible agricultural products, such as 17 categories of food 608 batches of samples.
inspection and determination in accordance with national standards for food safety, in which 600 batches of qualified samples and 8 batches of non-conforming samples were sampled (see annex).
Non-conforming food related to agricultural veterinary drug residues, quality indicators and microbial pollution indicators: First, agricultural veterinary drug residues (i) Urumqi City, Midong District Zeng Xiaoying vegetable stall sales of bean sprouts, 6-based adenine (6-BA) does not meet the national standards for food safety.

(ii) Bean sprouts sold at Chen chrysanthemum vegetable stalls in the Midong District of Urumqi City, 6-pyrethroids (6-BA) and 4-sodium chlorobenzene (in 4-chlorobenoxyacetic acid) do not meet national standards for food safety.

II, quality indicators and microbial contamination (1) Tianshan xiang red herb balsamic vinegar produced by Wenju County Taste Fresh Food Co., Ltd., by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Research Institute inspection found that the total acid (in acetic acid) and the total number of bacteria are not in line with the national standards for food safety.
, Wenju County TASTE Fresh Food Co., Ltd. objected to the total acid test results (in acetic acid) and applied for a re-inspection;
(2) Yakxi pure grain vinegar produced by Wenju County Taste Fresh Food Co., Ltd., by the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Research Institute inspection found that the total acid (in acetic acid) and the total number of places do not meet the national standards for food safety.
, Wenju County TASTE Fresh Food Co., Ltd. objected to the total acid test results (in acetic acid) and applied for a re-inspection;
(iii) garlic ginger vinegar produced by the Vages vinegar factory in Kashgar City, the total number of places does not meet the national standards for food safety.

(iv) and The total number of fennel vinegars produced at the Mutailifu Agricultural Sub-Food Processing Plant in Tianlopu County and the total number of bacteriums (in acetic acid terms) do not meet the national standards for food safety.

(5) Two batches of brewed vinegar produced by Dili Kaixi Agricultural Products Processing Co., Ltd. (production dates are 2020-03-28 and 2020-04-19, respectively), are total acid (in acetic acid terms) and the total number of bacteria do not meet the national standards for food safety.

For non-conforming food found in the sampling, the Market Supervision Administration of the Autonomous Region has tasked the relevant local (state or city) market regulatory authorities to immediately organize the disposal work, ascension of product flow, take measures such as recalling unqualified products from the next rack to control risks;
to remind consumers that if they find or purchase non-conforming food items listed in the annex in the market, please call the Food Safety Complaint Reporting Number 12315 to report a complaint.
