Researchers from Wuhan Botanical Garden have summarized, analyzed and reviewed the available information on the ethnobotanical, phytochemical, toxicological and known pharmacological properties of elderberries around the world to understand their scientific connotations and further reveal related research blank .
More and more medicinal plants are used to treat various diseases , and their safety has become a global concern .
The research results were published in the international academic journal Journal of Ethnopharmacology under the title of " Ethnobotany, Phytochemistry, Pharmacology, and Toxicology of the Genus SambucusL.
Under the guidance of researcher Hu Guangwan, this research was mainly completed by Kenyan student Emmanuel Nyongesa Waswa and domestic master student Li Jing.
