On June 8, Cabot Hengyecheng High Performance Materials (Inner Mongolia) Co.
, Ltd.
laid the foundation stone for the fumed silica project in Wuhai City
.
Cabot Company and Hengyecheng Organosilicon Company invested 400 million yuan to build a world-class fumed silica production base with an annual output of 8,000 tons, which is planned to be completed and put into production in the first half of 2019
.
The project uses the by-products of Inner Mongolia Hengyecheng Silicone to produce high-value-added high-performance material fumed silica, and partly supplies Hengyecheng Silicone Company for the development of its downstream products, extending the overall silicone industry chain
.
After the project is completed, it is estimated that the annual sales will be about 200 million yuan, and the annual profit and tax will be about 60 million yuan
