    World Citrus Organization: Global citrus production is 158.5 million tons, with China leading the list

    The World Citrus Organization released a comprehensive report last month covering data on the global citrus industry from summer 2021 to winter 2021

    The report provides extensive statistics on all areas of the global citrus industry, including production, export, import, and consumption of citrus, as well as specific statistics
    on the most common varieties.
     
    According to the World Citrus Organization, in the summer of 2021 to the winter of 2021/22, global citrus production reached 158.

    The Mediterranean region tops the global export volume of oranges, and Europe remains the number one
