The 6th Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macau Nutrition Improvement Academic Conference hosted by the Macao Nutrition Society was held at the Macau Science Museum from September 14-15, 2018, with more than 200 nutrition science and technology workers participating in the conference. Zhang Leishi, Deputy Director of the Food Department of the National Health and Health Commission, Vice Minister of Propaganda and Culture of the Macao Central Joint Office, Vice President of the Chinese Nutrition Society Ma Guansheng, Zhu Wei, Cai Wei, Ma Patriotic, Chairman of the Macao Nutrition Society Yu Shurui, Chairman of the Chinese Dietary Nutrition Society Zhang Lexuan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Nutrition Society Zhang Zhiliang and other leaders attended the meeting. At the opening ceremony, Zhang Lei, Deputy Director-General and Vice-Chairman ma Guansheng, delivered speeches to the General Assembly, and Yu Shurui, Chairman of the Macao Nutrition Society, delivered a welcoming speech.
The theme of the session was New Challenges in Nutritional Therapy and Health Promotion, with the establishment of the Academician Forum, the theme report of the two main venues, with elderly nutrition and successful aging, clinical nutrition, the establishment and development of registered dietitians, infant and young child feeding intestinal comfort promotion strategy, maternal and child nutrition Public nutrition and chronic disease prevention and treatment, student nutrition, pediatric clinical nutrition, health medicine and health food 9 sub-forums, cross-strait Hong Kong and Macao nearly 70 well-known nutrition experts for the cross-strait Hong Kong and Macao people common concern about nutrition and health issues made a wonderful report. Participants exchanged academic views on the latest advances in nutritional science research, the standardized application of clinical nutrition in various fields, nutrition and chronic disease prevention and treatment, and the registration and management of dietitians.

At the same time completed the transfer of the next hosting rights, the Macao Nutrition Society President Professor Yu Shurui announced that the next session will be held in Qingdao, the Chinese Nutrition Society Vice President Professor Ma patriotic on behalf of the Chinese Nutrition Society hand over the right to hold.

The successful holding of the 6th Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macau Nutrition Improvement Academic Conference has strengthened the exchange and exchange of scientific information among nutrition academic groups, promoted the improvement of the level of nutrition research through the exchange and sharing of successful experiences in the application of nutrition science, and helped to further enhance the scientific research level and practical skills of nutrition professionals on both sides of the Taiwan Straits and Hong Kong and Macao.
The Cross-Strait and Hong Kong-Macau Nutrition Improvement Academic Conference, formerly known as the Cross-Strait Four Places Nutrition Improvement Academic Conference, is an influential high-end forum on nutrition in Asia jointly organized by the Nutrition Society of Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, and is also one of the brand society conferences created by the Chinese Nutrition Society. Since its instation in Macao in 2008, it has successfully held five sessions in Chengdu (2010), Hong Kong (2012), Taiwan (2014) and Shanghai (2016), and has become an important platform for exchanges between the nutrition community, deepening the friendship between nutrition science and technology workers across the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao, and working together to improve the nutritional health of Chinese residents and even the ball.
