Construction environment:

When constructing internal and external wall latex paint, the moisture content of the wall is required to be less than 15% (the national requirement is less than 10%); When applying solvent-based coatings, such as epoxy floors, please operate according to the product manual, and the moisture content of the concrete base layer should be less than 8%; When applying wood paint, the moisture content of wood should be less than 12%.

The wetted base surface is not easy to dry under low temperature and high humidity, so be sure to carry out the construction after testing the moisture content of the
base layer.

However, construction should be stopped 24 hours before cold snap, rain and snow

Interior and exterior wall coatings:

1.
Avoid one thick application

If airless spraying is used to apply the interior wall latex paint, the coating rate should be greater than 9 square meters / liter to avoid slow drying and cracking

Indoor heating in winter will cause the relative humidity of the air to be very low, and the drying of the internal wall latex paint too quickly may lead to heavier rolling marks and brush marks, which can be improved by appropriately increasing the air humidity, rather than by excessive dilution with water

The decrease in temperature will lead to an increase in viscosity, and the proportion of diluent can be appropriately increased to adjust the viscosity of paint application, but it should not be over-diluted

Stirring is generally carried out indoors and allowed to stand for more than 30 minutes.
Polyamide epoxy HPC products, such as D231, D224HS, D201, D4030, D4406, etc.

3.
Low-temperature construction of steel structure anti-corrosion coating: Epoxy primer applied below 10 °C, or polyurethane topcoat below 5 °C, low-temperature accelerator should be used, and the specific use ratio and use method are detailed in the "Instructions for the Use of Low Temperature Accelerator"

Even if a low-temperature accelerator is added, the limit is -4°C at the base surface temperature, and it is recommended to construct above 0°C to
achieve better performance.

4.
The temperature of the floor coating construction base is required to be above 5 °C; (It should be noted that even with indoor heating, the temperature of the wall and floor will rise much lower than the temperature)

When the low viscosity of solvent-free floor coating is too high due to excessive temperature, the construction operation should be stopped and no diluent should be added

Wood paint:

The film-forming speed of wood paint construction is mainly affected by temperature, and the proportion of curing agent cannot be increased, which will cause the paint film to crack and peel off

The drying speed of oily wood paint will be much slower in winter, try to increase the temperature of the construction site to ensure the dry speed, and pay attention to the construction of thin coating multiple times, and avoid one-time thick coating at low temperatures or the use of "wet touching wet" process;

Try to use sealing primer to close the board during wood paint construction to reduce whitening.

During the application of waterborne wood paint, the drying time of each coating should be extended to ensure that the paint film dries thoroughly to avoid whitening

Avoid polishing wood paint with water milling, because the temperature is too low and dry in winter, which is more likely to cause whitening and other drawbacks
