On October 26, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced the official launch of Solidarity Trial Vaccines (STV)
    .

This is an international randomized clinical trial program that aims to select the next-generation new crown vaccine candidates with the most development potential and evaluate their safety and effectiveness.
The goal is to provide better protection against virus variants, and for longer protection and so on
    .

The candidate vaccines participating in the trial are independently selected by the Vaccine Prioritization Advisory Group composed of the world's top scientists and industry experts

So far, the independent vaccine priority advisory group has reviewed scientific evidence such as clinical data of about 20 new crown vaccine candidates
    .

According to the recommendations of the working group, there are currently two candidate vaccines included in the unity test, namely a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) vaccine and a recombinant protein vaccine

According to the latest list of global new crown vaccines released by the World Health Organization, the two vaccines that have been selected for the new crown vaccine unity test are the deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) vaccine pGX9501/INO- jointly developed by Inovio Pharmaceuticals and Ai Diweixin (Suzhou) Biopharmaceuticals.
4800, and the recombinant protein vaccine MVC-COV1901 jointly developed by Medigen Pharmaceuticals and Dynavax
    .

The new crown vaccine solidarity trial was launched in more than forty clinical sites in the Philippines, Colombia and Mali, and has been officially approved by the regulatory agencies and ethics committees of these countries and supported by the health authorities
    .

The National Research Team of Unity Trials has brought together experienced researchers (PI) in clinical trials and has begun recruiting volunteers to participate in clinical trials
