[China Epoxy Resin Industry Online] October 9, 2004, Premier Wen Jiabao of the State Council stated in an official visit to Vietnam that China will take five measures to deal with the current high oil price market situation.

Wen Jiabao told the media in Hanoi that the five measures China will take are: first, vigorously save energy, especially the economical use of oil and gas; second, make full use of coal resources and other energy sources; and third, increase our own oil and gas resources.

Exploration and exploitation efforts; fourth, establish stable oil and gas supply channels; fifth, start to establish oil reserves.
