pH is an important physiological factor in living organisms and plays an important role in cellular endocytosis, endosome maturation, lysosomal metabolism, drug delivery, and immune-related diseases
Recently, the academic journal Angewandte Chemie International Edition published online the latest research results "A pH-Responsive Nanoparticle Library with Precise pH Tunability by Co-Polymerization with Non- Ionizable Monomers (a non-ionized monomer-based copolymerization strategy to achieve precise pH-responsive regulation of nanoparticle libraries)”
Using this strategy, only one pH-sensitive monomer with a specific pKa can be used to construct a pH-responsive nanoparticle library with a pH-responsive point (pHt) in the range of 4.
This research was supported by the National Key R&D Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Beijing Natural Science Foundation of China
