[China Epoxy Network (China Epoxy Industry Online)November 16, 2009: On November 4, 2009, Vice Premier Wang Qishan of the State Council met with the US-China Trade Commission in Ziguangge, Zhongnanhai Board delegation.
Wang Qishan said that the 20th China-US Joint Committee on Commerce and Trade has been a complete success.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States, the rapid development and tremendous changes in bilateral relations and economic and trade cooperation were unimaginable 30 years ago.
The current global economic recovery is still facing many uncertainties.
China and the United States should further strengthen communication and coordination, cooperate to respond to the international financial crisis, oppose trade and investment protectionism, and jointly promote the construction of a positive, cooperative and comprehensive Sino-US relationship in the 21st century.
Li Weicheng, chairman of the US-China Business Council and chairman of The Dow Chemical Company, said that he continues to be committed to promoting exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and American business circles, enhancing mutual understanding, and promoting the healthy development of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
