On June 10, WACKER's new silicone elastomer production line at its Zhangjiagang production base was officially launched. With an annual production capacity of several thousand tons, the line will support WACKER's future business growth in China and increase the supply of high temperature silicone sulfide rubber (HCR) in the Asia Pacific region. The new production line is equipped with two world-class mixing equipment to produce a high-quality HCR product line
.
new production line is equipped with the largest mixing equipment of its kind in the world, and its mixing and screening equipment, as well as advanced waste treatment processes, are among the industry's leading producers in terms of productivity and sustainability. The new line will help reduce lead times, increase market responsiveness, and optimize the customer experience as a whole.
"Today's completion of the silicone rubber expansion plant is not only another important milestone in WACKER's path to expanding its business in China, but also demonstrates our firm determination to further develop and serve the Chinese and Asian markets. Paul Lindblad, WACKER's president for Greater China, said at the opening ceremony of the expansion plant.
expansion of the silicone elastomer plant is another strong example of WACKER's continued investment in Chinese production facilities. "We will significantly increase silicone rubber production capacity with our new production lines to provide stronger support to our customers and partners to meet challenges and seize opportunities in today's rapidly changing and increasingly complex market environment." Mr Limbo said.
