On April 18, WACKER Chemie officially opened its new polysilicon production base in Charleston, Tennessee, USA
.
??? The new base is WACKER’s largest single investment with a total of 2.
5 billion US dollars and a designed annual production capacity of 20,000 tons
.
So far, WACKER has produced about 1,000 tons of polysilicon.
In the next few months, WACKER will gradually increase its production load, and it is expected to reach full capacity by the third quarter of 2016
