Vietnam's tuna exports to China have increased significantly

(People's Daily) In the first half of September 2021, Vietnam 's tuna exports to China increased by 332% year-on-year .According to information from the Vietnam Fisheries Processing and Export Association (VASEP), since August 2021, Vietnam’s tuna exports to various markets have been on a downward trend, but tuna exports to the Chinese market have increased significantly, especially in the first half of September this year.

Nguyen Xia, a tuna market research expert of the Vietnam Fisheries Processing and Export Association, said that there are 23 tuna export and processing companies in Vietnam that export products to China

If the epidemic prevention and control situation in the Jiulong River Delta improves, companies resume work and production, and exports stabilize, Vietnam’s tuna exports to China will maintain a high growth momentum
