    Vietnam's Shanluo Province exports 10 tons of red dragon fruit to Russia

    (People's Daily) On August 20, Shanluo Province held a ceremony for the harvest of 10 tons of red dragon fruit and export to Russia in 2021 in Fenglai Township, Shunzhou County
    .
     
    Shunzhou is one of the areas where Shanluo Province implements the policy of developing high-quality fruit trees
    .
    Over the years, Shunzhou County has developed 3,600 hectares of fruit tree planting areas, of which 50 hectares of red pitaya are planted, and the total output in 2021 is expected to reach approximately 440 tons
    .
     
    Since 2010, the red-hearted pitaya tree has been trial-planted in Shanluo Province.
    It has strong adaptability, grows well, and adapts to the climate and soil of the province
    .
     
    According to the plan, during the period 2021-2025, Shunzhou County will develop more red-hearted dragon fruit planting areas, about 150-200 hectares
    .
     
    Nguyen Xuanhuang, deputy chairman of the People’s Committee of Shunzhou County, said that in the context of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, Shanluo Province has sought and docked with domestic enterprises and participated in export activities.
     
      The export of red dragon fruit from Shunzhou County to the Russian market will help increase value, ensure stable sales, help farmers to produce with peace of mind, and inject impetus to the economic and social development of Shanluo Province, especially Shunzhou County
