As import demand picks up, Vietnamese prices have ended a three-month decline, with pepper now trading at 40,000 dong a kilogram.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade's Industrial and Trade Information Center said the price of black pepper in the Western Plains region on May 14 was between 40,000 and 43,000 dong a kilogram, an increase of 300 to 1,000 dong a kilogram over the previous day.
