    Vietnamese durians are exported to China through regular trade channels

    (NDO) After four years of negotiations, on July 11, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Liming Huan signed a protocol on phytosanitary requirementsfor Vietnamese durians exported to Chin.
    This is an important condition for the stable sales of Vietnamese durians in the Chinese marke.
     
    The protocol, after being signed, will be sent to the General Administration of Customs of China and published on its official website, along with a list of Vietnamese durian plantations and packing factories that meet export
    condition.
     
    After the protocol and the list of approved Vietnamese durian plantations and packaging factories are published on the official website of the General Administration of Customs of China, Vietnamese durians will be officially approved for export to Chi.
     
    According to the protocol, Vietnamese fresh durians need to meet some basic requirements of the Chinese side, that is, there are suitable methods to eliminate the pest problems that the Chinese side is concerned about; meet the requirements of food safety and hygiene, no pesticide residues exceeding the standard; meet the requirements of packaging and packaging informati.
     
    China is the largest and potential market for Vietnamese fresh duria.
    Therefore, from 2018, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has instructed the Plantation Bureau to start negotiations on the export of Vietnamese durians to Chi.
     
    According to the Plantation Bureau, by the end of 2021, the national durian production will reach about 642,600 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1

    Recently, the General Administration of Customs of China has agreed to import Vietnamese passion fruit on a pilot basis from July
