    Vietnam wants to strengthen cooperation with Malaysia on halal food certification

    Vietnam's "Vietnam+" reported on March 22 that Vietnam's Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hongyan said during a meeting with Malaysian Minister of Trade and Industry Azmin Ali that at present, the consumption demand for halal food in Vietnam is increasing

    This will be a good opportunity for companies from Vietnam and Malaysia to cooperate and build a halal ecosystem commensurate with the potential of both countries

    Regarding the inclusion of refined oil cooperation and supply cooperation on the agenda of the joint committee amid the turbulent international oil market, Azmin Ali said he has contacted Petrogas
    .
    The company said it can supply 300,000 barrels to Vietnam immediately, and if Vietnam needs more, the two sides can continue negotiations
