Introduction: This summary report is based on the report made by US exporters on July 12-18 During this period, the net sales volume of corn in the United States was 772700 tons, 8% higher than last week and 4% higher than the four week average Major sales growth areas include Japan (331000 tons, 233700 tons of which are transferred from unknown destinations), Canada (114600 tons, including 1200 tons previously sold but not reported), Syria (76600 tons), Taiwan (72800 tons), Colombia (69200 tons), and Egypt (64600 tons), but for unknown destinations (228, 200 tons) In 2002 / 03, the sales volume of delivery increased by 300500 tons, mainly to Japan (242800 tons), unknown destination (50000 tons), and Mexico (23000 tons) In 2002 / 03, the sales volume decreased in El Salvador (26700 tons) The export volume was 1087200 tons, 17% higher than last week and 18% higher than the four week average Major destinations include Japan (371500 tons), Canada (99900 tons, including 1200 tons previously shipped but not reported and 36700 tons later reported), Israel (83300 tons), Syria (76600 tons, including 56300 tons later reported), Egypt (64600 tons), South Korea (56100 tons), and Saudi Arabia (41900 tons - all later reported).
