The Agriculture Counsellor still expects India to produce 99 million tonnes of wheat in 2022/23, with exports at 6 million tonnes and ending stocks at 5 million tonn.

Planting is expected to resume as the monsoon begins to resume in the third week of June, coupled with the possibility of normal rainfall in July and adequate soil moistu.
