On April 21, the reporter learned from the Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences that Huang Mingzhong, an orchid resource expert from the Institute of Tropical Crop Variety Resources of the academy, discovered two new orchid species in the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park.

Huang Mingzhong introduced that the Hainan Orchid was obtained from the plants that fell from the trees during his research in Wuzhishan in 2008.

Ling's Shidoulan was discovered by Huang Mingzhong during an orchid survey on a tall tree in Diaoluo Mountain in 2013

It is understood that the new data on orchids (new species and new recorded species) published by young expert Huang Mingzhong accounted for more than one-tenth of the total number of orchids in Hainan
