According to the news, the burning objects were clothing, daily necessities, sundries, etc.

After investigation, the cause of the fire was identified as follows: the fire site was located at the lower part of the west side of the atrium in Room 102, and the time of the fire was estimated to be around 6:01 on March 2, 2022.

Comprehensive investigation and inquiries, on-site inspections, video analysis, physical evidence identification and other evidence conditions, exclude the suspicion of arson, the fire has the characteristics of burning, and exclude the remaining fire, weak fire source and other factors of the fire, and failed to lock the specific electrical appliances

In response to the common concerns of teachers and students, after communicating with the fire department, we confirmed the following:

(1) About the situation that the fire evacuation broadcast fails to start normally when a fire occurs

After the fire broke out, the fire control room of the Student Community Management Service Center (referred to as the central control room) received the alarm signal from the smoke detector in Building 9 at 6:06, but the on-site personnel on duty did not turn on the evacuation broadcast in time according to the operation procedure, and then When the radio is turned on, the fire has caused the power distribution circuit where the emergency radio is located to malfunction and cannot be used normally, resulting in students in the dormitory unable to hear the emergency radio

(2) About the opening of emergency lights and evacuation doors

At 6:06, the central control room received an alarm signal from the smoke detector
