In order to improve the professional skills of professional staff in the fields of medicine, public health and nutrition, update their nutritional epidemiology expertise in a timely manner, and better carry out nutrition-related work, the Public Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Nutrition Society successfully held a training course on nutritional epidemiology survey and analysis methods in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from July 3 to 4, 2015.In order to meet the actual work and business development needs, the training course after more than three months of preparation, in the training course arrangements have been carefully prepared, covering domestic and foreign nutrition epidemiology research progress, China's nutrition and nutrition development planning, dietary nutrition evaluation methods, nutrition epidemiology commonly used analysis methods and software applications. To this end, a number of well-known experts from the Chinese Nutrition Society, Peking University School of Public Health, Hebei Medical University School of Public Health, the University of North Carolina and the Centers for Nutrition and Health of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention were invited to present 9 presentations to more than 60 students from various departments, including "Development and Challenges of Nutrition in Chinese Residents", "Twenty Years of Tracking major dietary and nutritional issues for Chinese residents". Research, new content of DRIs revision 2000-2013, dietary nutrient reference intake DRIs application, reference from northern Europe - in-depth analysis of children's nutrition queue, establishment and data analysis of nutrition big data database, new progress in nutrition epidemiology research at home and abroad, application of tool variable regression analysis in nutrition epidemic, Meta analysis methods and examples, etc. After a two-day course, participants gained practical knowledge and cutting-edge theories, as well as epidemiological and statistical analysis methods.
