Tianqi Lithium released an announcement on September 6 stating that after the board of directors’ approval, the company plans to invest in the construction of an annual output of 24,000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate project

According to the announcement, the project will be implemented by Tianqi Australia, the sun company of Tianqi Lithium Industry.
The total investment of the project is 398,422,726 Australian dollars (approximately RMB 201,629,900), and the construction period is 25 months.
The project is expected to be completed in October 2018.
