. According to the China Adhesive and Adhesive Belt Industry Association, China's consumption of PUR hot melt in 2018 is about 42,000 tons, an increase of nearly 40% over 2017, accounting for about 20% of the global total consumption.
In recent
years, researchers have done a lot of work in reducing the melting temperature and viscosity of wet-cured PUR hot melts, improving initial viscosity, shortening positioning time, and enhancing product flexibility, heat resistance and flame retardant resistance.
PUR hot melt with polyols and isocyanate as the base material, with non-reactive thermoplastic resins, adhesive resins, antioxidants, catalysts, fillers and so on. In recent years, in order to further improve pur's performance, broaden its application field and meet the needs of various application scenarios, the researchers have made in-depth exploration of the physical and chemical properties of its raw material compositions and their ratio, and made great progress in research.
