[China Epoxy Network (China Epoxy Industry Online)June 11, 2015: The 2015 International Refining and Petrochemical Conference (IRPC) was recently held in Abu Dhabi.
Participants conducted in-depth discussions on the integration of refining and chemical industries, energy policies, and heavy oil processing technologies.
They agreed that the current oil and gas and downstream petrochemical markets are undergoing tremendous changes, driving deep changes in the refining and chemical industry.

global consulting firm Alix Partners general manager Louis Besland said in the report that due to the expected shortage of refining products in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region in the future, there will be more refining and chemical producers in the Middle East by 2020 Products are exported to these regions.

He pointed out that there is still a large surplus of gasoline and diesel in the Middle East, with an annual surplus of 26 million tons of gasoline and 25 million tons of middle distillate.
On the other hand, the gap of middle distillate oil in Europe reaches 2 million tons/year; the gap of middle distillate oil in the Asia-Pacific region reaches 20 million tons/year, and the gap of gasoline is about 2 million tons/year.
