Recently, Professor Lin Jianhan's team from the School of Information and Electrical Engineering, China Agricultural University published the latest research results in the famous journal "Biosensors and Bioelectronics" in the field of sensors, entitled " Salmonella Passive Microfluidics Based on Sliding Valves and Syringe.
Salmonella is the main pathogen causing microbial food poisoning, which can cause diarrhea, typhoid and other foodborne diseas.
This study proposes a biosensor that does not require any external power source, can utilize a sliding multi-position valve for fluid channel selection and utilize a disposable syringe for fluid transfer operations on a microfluidic chip, and achieves rapid and sensitive detection of Salmonella typhimuri.
China Agricultural University is the first unit to complete the research wo.
