Recently, the relevant leaders of Shanghai Ocean University, Shandong Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute, Dongying Marine Development and Fisheries Bureau, and Dongying Kenli District People's Government held a signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation agreement on the development of the Yellow River Estuary hairy crab industry in Shanghai

Zhu Yongan, vice president of Shandong Freshwater Fisheries Research Institute, led the team to attend the ceremony and signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of the institute

Zhu Yongan pointed out that the Kenli District of Dongying City sits on the estuary of the Yellow River and is the intersection of the three major national strategies, with particularly prominent location and resource advantages

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, in the next step, the cooperation units will focus on the breeding of hairy crabs in the Yellow River Estuary, aquaculture production, intensive processing, brand cultivation and other aspects, integrate the resource advantages of all parties, strengthen the cooperation between government, industry, academia and research, and strive to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results
