[China Epoxy Resin Industry Online] March 16, 2006: The State Environmental Protection Administration, the Environmental Protection Association and the Chemical Industry Association jointly acted to promote 4 new technologies specializing in the "three wastes" of chemical industry.
The president of the association, Wang Xinfang, learned from the introduction that the State Environmental Protection Administration and the China Environmental Protection Industry Association have made a decision to launch 4 more targeted new technologies from this year to solve the chemical "three wastes" problem.
Member Wang, the former deputy minister of the Ministry of Chemical Industry and deputy director of the State Environmental Protection Administration, introduced that the four new technologies include: the use of membrane technology to solve the problem of zero discharge of sewage and water recycling in small and medium-sized nitrogen fertilizer enterprises; the use of ammonia desulfurization technology to solve the pollution of solid sulfur gypsum The problem; the problem of retreading and reusing old tires; the use of pressure swing adsorption technology to solve the problem of yellow phosphorus tail gas pollution and effective recycling.
The State Environmental Protection Administration and China Environmental Protection Industry Association finally determined the feasibility of these four technologies through analysis and research.
Member Wang specifically mentioned that membrane technology, ammonia desulfurization and pressure swing adsorption technology all come from the chemical industry.
